Career Simulation Experience
The IP4 cohort experienced an immersive and multifaceted Careers Day designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world professional environments. The day commenced with an engaging career simulation game facilitated by an external vendor, allowing students to step into realistic workplace scenarios and gain hands-on understanding of professional challenges, decision-making processes, and career dynamics.
W.O.W. Internship Sharing
This interactive experience was followed by a sharing session where seniors reflected on their Wonder Observe Weave (W.O.W.) experiences, offering authentic insights into workplace culture, industry expectations, and the practical application of skills in professional settings. Their personal stories provided valuable lessons on navigating real work environments and building professional relationships.
Building Future-Ready Mindsets
The programme concluded with a classroom segment that encouraged students to broaden their career perspectives and develop essential mindsets for future success. Participants explored how global problems and challenges can give rise to diverse and unexpected career pathways, learning to remain open-minded, flexible, and adaptable when opportunities arise. The session emphasized the importance of cultivating resilience and hope in navigating today's VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) world, equipping students with both practical knowledge and the adaptive mindset necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving professional landscape.
